This member-only skillshare will focus on 16mm contact printing using a sync block and flashlight. We will review some logistics of creating a 1 to 1 copy of a source film, but the emphasis will be on more experimental approaches including contact printing individual strips of source film, bi-packing source film, and employing gels or other materials. As part of the skillshare participants will collaborate on exposing a roll of Kodak 50D color negative. Participants are encouraged to bring source film strips of 3-4 feet or more and/or 100 feet of source film to propose for possible double exposure.
